NYC New York Color

So I'm going to be doing a few re-reviews in upcoming posts, starting with this post dedicated to NYC New York Color's Liquid Lipshine, which I had the pleasure of receiving complimentary for testing through Influenster's voxbox program.  Recently, I did one loooong blog post reviewing all of the items I received in my Latina Beauty voxbox, but since I have had some more time to use everything, I think it's fair to update.

To tell you a little bit about NYC New York Color, they are known for providing "uptown style at down to earth prices." For me, that's awesome because I am not someone who can justify spending a lot of money on designer makeup brands.  I find that drugstore brands work fine for me and on occasion I might like to splurge on something more pricey. But usually I am just happy to find a great product at an affordable price, and NYC definitely is that with prices ranging from $.99-$4.99.

I wrote a little about their Liquid Lipshine product in my overall review post, like how this product contains vitamin E for super soft and moisturized lips. This is still one of my favorite parts about this gloss. It just feels so nice. I am still very happy with the effect of the gloss, especially over an old lipstick, but even on it's own. That's really saying something for me since I am not a huge fan of lip gloss, but I even plan to buy this Liquid Lipshine on my own in a different shade than Nude York City (though I love it for its versatility). I'm thinking Brighton Beach Peach next. I love peach tones for lips. There are 10 shades to choose from so I'm sure you'll find something to suit your taste.

I just found out that NYC Liquid Lipshine is actually a beauty editor favorite. When you can find a good lip gloss for cheap ($2.49) that isn't sticky, feels nice on your lips, and adds pigment and vibrancy to your lips... Why wouldn't it be a favorite?
